17, 19 & 21 Hands Rd, Riccarton consists of 12 new commercially zoned warehouse units. Miyamoto’s geotechnical and structural teams worked in collaboration to provide investigation and assessment and structural design for this Boutique Living project. Miyamoto’s geotechnical team conducted investigation and assessment services to support the structural team, which was responsible for designing concrete tilt panels ranging from 6.2 to 7.2 meters, as well as roof bracing and portal frames. The project featured stock-standard commercial units, ensuring efficiency and functionality in design. Arcon.nz served as the project architect, contributing to the overall planning and execution.
