Miyamoto New Zealand provided BIM Lead services for this project, alongside drafting and geotechnical support. This was the first time Miyamoto has taken on the role of BIM Lead, and it marks an industry first, with a structural consultancy leading a project in this capacity.
Miyamoto utilsed Autodesk Construction Cloud to track, monitor, transmit, report, and create the project for all project participants. This created massive efficiencies for not only the design and construction phase but for the asset management for the life of the building.
In additional to drafting we also supplied all quantifiable items such as concrete area/volume, steel requirements, etc as requested by HCC.
