Amir Moshref is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng, CMEngNZ) with comprehensive experience in structural design, seismic assessment, and strengthening of complex structures in New Zealand and the Middle East. Holding a PhD in Structural Earthquake Engineering, Amir has an extensive academic background and has authored numerous publications on seismic performance and structural resilience.His expertise spans reinforced concrete, steel, post-tensioned, and base-isolated structures, with leadership on major projects such as the Wellington Children’s Hospital, Amora Hotel, and James Smiths Carpark. Amir combines deep technical knowledge with practical design experience, leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver performance-based, sustainable, and resilient engineering solutions that enhance building safety and functionality.
